I am looking forward to going up to KC and spending Thanksgiving at my daughter and son-in-law’s house even though Hubby promised daughter that we would cook. At least it isn’t in my smaller kitchen though it is the biggest I’ve ever had. Theirs is bigger and has an island so lots of space to work with.
It’s funny how you get set on certain foods that you just have to have on the holiday. Even with her going to the in-laws for the last few years, our kid still prefers what she grew up eating. Guess it is what you are used to and what was “traditional” in your house that sticks with you. I just need to behave myself and not overdo it but it is so difficult when it is so good.
Today I am kinda all over the place so stick with me, there has to be something to make you smile 🙂

Trust me, that would be one of my first choices of where to live and not in the Kansas wasteland that I do live in. I grew up in Calif. and moved here after getting married. If Hubby ever had to ask if I love him, living in KS instead of Calif. or somewhere like that pic for over 30yrs should prove it!
