Got a call a little bit ago and Morgan needs to stay in the hospital for awhile. Since she was 5 lbs 2 0z at birth and has been sleeping not eating for the last 2 days, she has dropped below 5 lbs and failed the “car seat” test.
Her oxygen sats have dropped so they have her in a warmer (which makes her warm, cozy and sleepier) and on monitors.
We are now in a hurry up and wait mode to see when she can be released from the hospital and go home. Mom was discharged this evening but obviously is staying with Morgan.
