NOT my grandbaby just a stock photo
Well, I got the official call from my daughter and SIL they are having a baby girl! OMG! I am so excited. I will admit it, I was hoping it was a girl though I would have been happy either way with just having a grandbaby but a girl is so much fun. Cuter clothes and baby stuff. Can’t help it if manufacturers haven’t figured out how to make boys items more fun.
I mean how cute is this stuff?

I will be hard pressed to not spend a fortune on baby items that are to die for cute, especially since this is our first grandbaby so spoiling rotten is already a given. Let me loose and let me shop!
They are going to keep the name of the baby a secret until after she is born so something is a surprise. :0)
Is it November yet? Can’t wait.

That will be so much fun for you. I hope it happens to me someday. I would just love to shop for fun stuff for a girl. Girls are much easier than boys to buy stuff for.

I just have to remember that baby girls can and should wear more than just pink and white. Gonna be hard walking past the baby sections at stores.

I Know! Those Uggs are to die for they are so cute! I am going to be a drooling idiot the first time I go shopping for the baby now that we know for sure it will be a girl. I think they had the 3D sonogram so there is no doubt that it’s a girl. WooHoo!

Congratulations, Granny! My first grandchild was a girl and I had a ball buying for her. We still love shopping together but the things she wants now (as a 13 year old) are much more expensive. Enjoy this special time.

I was hoping for a little girl, too. I’m so happy for you and your family! After all, Devoted Spouse is upstairs waiting for me; it’s our wedding anniversary, and I’m sitting here replying to you – that’s how excited I am that you’ve found out it’s gonna be a girl! Woo-hoo! Yep, got to get to knitting now I just have to figure out what besides booties which I can actually make if I don’t try the sock type.

Congratulations! I must have missed the news at first. Girls are a lot of fun. I had a couple of summer pregnancies, in Texas, no less. It’s miserable, just tell your daughter to take it easy!
