October already. That means pretty soon I’ll have to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas. I don’t think I’m ready for that yet. I want to go away for Christmas to a tropical island. I don’t want to shop or even think about it. Maybe next month I’ll worry about it.
Okay, I can’t help it as this just cracked me up. It’s silly but short and just hit me as some of these things do once in awhile.
I thought this one is very interesting and well done.

Man, Woman, Sleeping Compartment
A man and a woman who have never met before find themselves in the same sleeping carriage of a train.
After the initial embarrassment they both go to sleep, the woman on the top bunk, the man on the lower.
In the middle of the night the woman leans over, wakes the man and says, “I’m sorry to bother you, but I’m awfully cold and I was wondering if you could possibly get me another blanket.”
The man leans out and, with a glint in his eye, says, “I’ve got a better idea… just for tonight, let’s pretend we’re married.”
The woman thinks for a moment. “Why not,” she giggles.
“Great,” he replies, “Get your own damn blanket!”

I know what you mean! This is the first weekend of October – which means all my decorations are going up on Saturday. Wait til you see it – I’m kinda nuts over Halloween. It’s only, like, my FAVE holiday of the year.
Then comes November – and TWILIGHT in the movie theaters! And Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sheesh – where does all the time go?
